Inclusion and belonging are not internal to the child; they are shaped by the systems, relationships and environments around them.
In this webinar, we will use this theory to break down the 7 themes of activity in the new Inclusion Strategy guidance, explain what they mean in practice, and help you decide your next steps in each area.
Taran and Rich from Motional will:
- Introduce the 7 themes of an inclusion strategy,
- Explain how each theme is structured,
- Share examples of the kinds of supporting evidence schools can use, including where Motional can help,
- Show how to set out clear aims and demonstrate impact.
You will come away with a downloadable Inclusion Strategy template with guided annotations on how to clearly evidence your setting’s inclusion strategies, intentions and outcomes, plus some additional information on how Motional can support you to understand need, choose your priorities, implement change and review the impact.
The session is designed to be useful whether or not you currently use Motional.
The session will last approximately 60 minutes, including time for a short Q&A towards the end, where you can put your questions to the team in the chat. For anyone who would like to explore their own strategy or needs further, we’ll stay online for an additional 15 minutes after the main session, giving you the opportunity to ask more specific questions and have a little extra 1-to-1 time with us.
